Good Sunday Design was founded by passion and on the idea of helping people create beautiful homes that reflect who they are and how they want to live.

We are a full-service boutique design studio specializing in new builds and large-scale renovations tailored to everyday living. Through thoughtful collaboration between contractor, designer, and homeowner – we curate personalized spaces for our clients and their family with an emphasis on livability and functionality.

We also design in hospitality and commercial industries, helping our clients create a memorable space that lends to their brand, customers and community.

Meet Emily
To say Emily loves design is an understatement!
Her passion for design was realized at a young age.
However it wasn’t always a certain path...after graduating from the business program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and working for several years in the business sector downtown Vancouver she realized her passion still lied in Interior Design and returned to BCIT for the Interior Design Program. While attending evening classes she continued to work downtown which lead to a position in Corporate Design.
Here she expanded her breadth of design influences, working with AutoCAD, budgeting, and facilitating office moves and new fit-ups.
It was also around this time that she began to take-on residential design projects and established herself with clients - striking a balance between creating a beautiful aesthetic and managing the project scope.
After being married, having three energetic kids and renovating and selling several personal homes with her husband, she is well versed in the importance of functionality and appropriate material selection when creating the ideal home.
Emily’s work ethic, commitment to her clients and design expertise has grown her business simply on referrals and word of mouth. She has designed new builds, full scale renovations and commercial spaces as well as staged and styled homes throughout the greater Vancouver Area.
A few things that give Emily life, which always seem to coincide with design, are spending time with her family + friends, entertaining, creating ambience, travelling, treasure hunting (shopping), sunny days, garden shops, and of course sharing a delicious charcuterie board paired with a nice Chianti xo
Meet Jodi
Jodi joined Emily in 2020. They were friends first. They share a joy for great design, good people and delicious food. Emily and Jodi bring two distinct skill sets to their work.​ Together they are a dream team!
They love the design process and enjoy getting to know their clients and creating comfortable spaces for them to enjoy.
After graduating with a degree in Business Administration specializing in Entrepreneurial Leadership; numerous years in management of luxury spas; and having two girls – Jodi realized that what she really wanted to do was interior design.
​
​Following years of guiding renovations and design projects for her own homes, as well as friends + family’s homes – she decided to follow her heart and passion for design.
​Her years in the customer service industry deeply rooted Jodi’s commitment to quality, level of service and attention to detail. Jodi loves do-it-yourself projects and has a talent for sourcing vintage + handmade favourite finds to curate a collected and lived-in space.

Her camera roll is full of inspiration images that she pulls out at the drop of a hat….just ask her husband!
Meet Ellie
Ellie joined our team as Studio Manager in 2023. With an Associate of Arts and Science degree and a Bachelors degree from Seattle Pacific University her background has carried her through various fields from Pediatric Nursing, to creating the Glitterbug program, to designing costumes and sets for theatre productions, to Fashion Merchandising and Interior Design. Primarily her passion is in the world of Arts and she is so excited to be a part of Good Sunday Design.
She believes that our environment has the ability to influence our energy and loves being a part of Good Sunday Design helping create spaces that support peoples lifestyles and passions.
When not at the office you will find her adventuring with her husband and two sweet girls, doing yoga, galavanting in the sunshine or baking a cookie or two, xo
Meet Nicole
Nicole joined our team in 2022 as an Interior designer for Good Sunday Design. She graduated from the Art Institute of Vancouver with her Bachelors in Interior design and has since pursued a career in residential as well as commercial space design.
She is an expert at 2D technical drawings and 3D renderings, which help our clients imagine what their space will become. Designing spaces with the client's priorities in mind, she wants the space to resonate with their lifestyle and vision. With a background in management and sales her attention to detail and organization is also impressive and helps keep us all on track!
A lover of fashion, country music, and spending time with her niece and nephew she brings joy and endless fashion advice to all of us here at Good Sunday Design!
